1. The product
Rowloft is a bring-your-own-patterns tool for crochet and knitting: you bring the patterns you bought from Etsy, Ravelry or anywhere else, and the app ships no pattern library of its own. Store name: Rowloft: Crochet Counter.
Payment, refunds, cancellation and tax follow the rules of the store you bought from. We do not run a separate refund window of our own — see the refund policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to enter an agreement where you live. v1 has no accounts, but you remain responsible for how the app is used on your device.
3. Your content
"Your content" means the patterns you import, your projects, counts, yarn records and notes.
- You keep every right you have in that material.
- Patterns and anything derived from them are never uploaded; the data stays in local SQLite on your device.
- You must have the right to put a pattern into the app in the first place.
Projects, counts and patterns you already created are never locked behind payment. The paywall only stands between you and creating a second active project.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, or to interfere with store billing or anyone else's device.
5. Paying
Free, plus Pro at $14.99 as a one-time purchase — a non-consumable in-app purchase covering every v1.x release. v1 has no subscription SKU.
Purchases go through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and entitlement runs through RevenueCat. The price is visible on the first screen of the paywall; the localised price that counts is the one on the store's checkout screen. The wording we use for it is Get Pro — $14.99 once and Pay once. Count forever.
There is no trial period.
Restore purchase is reachable from the paywall and from Settings. A one-time purchase does not expire, and the offline cache keeps working.
6. Availability and changes
Features and pricing may change across v1.x. We do not promise uninterrupted service.
7. Ending
You can stop using the app and run "Delete everything" at any time. Anything you already bought is still handled under the store's rules.
8. Disclaimers
The app is provided as is. Counting, reminders and pattern rendering may be imperfect; check your work yourself before relying on it. The app is not professional craft instruction and not a medical tool.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits or data. Total liability connected to the app is capped at what you paid us for Rowloft in the 12 months before the dispute arose — as recorded by the store, where the store took the payment.
10. General
If one clause cannot be enforced, the rest still stand. Not enforcing a clause once does not waive it.
